SSC CHSL Vacancy information:

Total Number of Vacancies: 1997

Name of the Examination: Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2014

Name of the jobs:

1. Data Entry Operator: 1006 Vacancies

2. Lower Division Clerk: 991 Vacancies

Age Details: All interested and eligible candidates age limit is in the range of18 to 27 years as on Aug 01st 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Academic profile: All interested and eligible candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Selection criteria:. All interested and eligible candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Written Test and have a skill of Typing Test for the post of Lower Division Clerk on Computer.

Cost of Application Fee: All interested and eligible candidates must have to pay the fee of Rs.100/- through online mode and offline mode. SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.

In the case online Mode: All interested and eligible candidates applying online can pay fee online through SBI portal. Fee can be paid in the form of cash through challan generated online after completion of registration at nearest SBI branch after 24 hours of submission of online form.

In the case of offline Mode: . All interested and eligible Candidates can pay the fee offline by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode or offline mode available from July 19th 2014 to 1Aug 19th 2014 and candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, and other far flung areas can send their applications on or before Aug 26th 2014 up to 05:00 P.M.

In the case of Online Mode: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode from the official and authorized the website http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in by filling all the mandatory details from July 19th 2014 to Aug 14th 2014 (up to 5:00 PM).

In the case of Offline Mode: All interested and eligible candidates are required to and applications in the standard and specified format downloaded from the website along with recent attested passport size photograph to the concerned Regional Office/Sub Regional Offices of the Commission as mentioned in the notification.

1. First of all log on to “http://ssconline.nic.in”

2. Select and choose appropriate advertisement link.

3. Need to online application consists of two parts i.e., Part-I Registration and Part-II Registration.

4. Applicants must fill basic information carefully in Part-I Registration and submit error free application.

5. After completion of Part-I Registration, candidates should have to pay the fee as through online/ offline mode.

6. Now continue with Part-II Registration, Please enter all the details regarding fee, upload scanned copy of photograph and signature

7. Submit error free application form for quick processing.

8. Note that Emails will be received by the candidates on completion of Part-II Registration. Copy of email and copy of challan must be retained for future purpose.

Closing Date for Part-I Registration: Aug 19th 2014 up to 5.00 PM

Final Date for Part-II Registration: July 19th 2014 by 5.00 PM

Final Date for Submission of Application for Remote Areas: Aug 26th -2014 by 5.00 PM

Final Date for Payment through Offline Challans: Aug 21nd 2014.
